IBUG, what is it? ibug is a platform where artists can be as creative as they like. the original idea for ibug was though of by Ta55o - MA'CLAIM. he wanted to create an event where like mainded artists could come together and show their creative side. so ibug was born, not just any event, but a special event due to the locations/bulidings and artists that partake. over the space of 3 weeks artsists are invited to be creative in what way they see fit, and in a way that would complement the buliding/space they where in. each year the organisers of ibug find a exciting and intresting building to hold the event, it could be a disused office block, a run down comercial site, even abandoned factorys... there are no buffed walls, no meters and meters of wall space for artists to put up their names. ibug is so much more. rooms are small,wall space is thin, roofs and windows are blown out, walls crumbling,old machines lay dorment,batterd and broken furniture lay about the place.. the artists are invited to use the space and what is there and incorprate it into their works, here are some photos from past ibug events, i hope you will njoy them. letty GK
